Privacy and Cookie Policy

1. Getting Started

The Data Controller of your Personal Data is the Owner, Meci Srl società Unipersonale, via A. De Gasperi 12, 25060 Collebeato (BS), P. IVA 02243690985. The Data Processor of your Personal Data appointed by the Data Controller is the Administrator, Cerberoos Srl, Via Lombardia 4, 26900 Lodi (LO) e P.IVA 07623620965.

2. The Personal Data We Collect

As is true of most websites, we gather certain information automatically and store it in log files. This information includes internet protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, internet service provider (ISP), referring/exit pages, the files viewed on our site (e.g., HTML pages, graphics, etc.), operating system, date/time stamp, and clickstream data.
MECI SRL will subscribe you to our newsletter(s), we will use your name and email address to send the newsletter to you if you have given us your consent or if you are already our customer. If you no longer wish to receive our newsletters, you may follow the unsubscribe instructions contained in each of the communications you receive.
We may also send you service related email announcements on rare occasions when it is necessary to do so. For instance, if our service is temporarily suspended for maintenance, we might send you an email. You do not have an option to opt out of these emails, which are not promotional in nature.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use your Personal Data only to supply the Service and, for such purpose, might disclose them to - third party organizations and individuals providing services to us;

- regulators, competent authorities and/or supervisory bodies for the performance of legal obligations.
Further that the above exceptions, we shall not disclose or hand your Personal Data to any third party. Performance of a contract with you

We process your personal data to perform our obligations under the Service Terms applicable to the product or service you are using, provided by us or our customers.

6. How You Control Your Personal Data

You are entitled, under art. 7 d.lgs. 196/2003 (Italian Data Protection Code) and art. 13 GDPR (Reg. Ue. 2016/679) and upon the terms of art. 8, 9 and 10 d.lgs. 196/2003 (Italian Data Protection Code) and art. 15-23 GDPR (Reg. Ue. 2016/679) to exercise certain rights in connection with your Personal Data, including the right to:

• request and obtain from us a copy of your Personal Data;
• ask us to delete your Personal Data; and
• update and correct your Personal Data.

7. Where Your Personal Data is Processed and Stored

Your Personal Data is processed in our offices, in Italy, in Collebeato (Brescia) in via A. De Gasperi 12, 25060 and in Lodi in Via Lombardia 4, and stored in our servers, where the degree of protection, security and compliance is guaranteed, pursuant to EC Data Protection Laws.

8. Our Cookie Policy

By definition, a cookie is a file containing a small amount of Data that our Platform can release to Your browser, and that are used exclusively by the Platform. Our Platform gives Your browser said cookies, which contain a unique indicator used solely to better understand your browsing habits: this way, it’s easier for us to give You the best possible navigation experience. The Administrator can only translate the cookies released by itself: we cannot read or have any access to cookies released by any third party. This particular type of Data allows us to improve the content of our Platform but You are completely free not to accept cookies from our Platform.

In particular We use Google Analytics, which creates a number of first-party cookies, all prefixed __utm:

__utma contains a unique and anonymous identifying ID, which allows us to ensure that subsequent visits to our website are recorded as belonging to the same (unique) visitor. This cookie expires after two years.

__utmb used to establish and continue a unique user session. Each time you request another page from the website the cookie is updated to expire after 30minutes.

__utmc works with __utmb to determine when to create a new session for a website visitor. This is a session cookie and expires when you exit the browser.

__utmz tracks how you found us and is used to calculate traffic and navigation within the website (six months).
__utmv You may also sometimes find this cookie is created which relates to custom reporting segments, a feature which we occasionally use on Google Analytics

We don't share the data that Google Analytics collects, and we don't believe that our use of Google Analytics is privacy-intrusive. We use the data that is collected in the following ways:

• to understand overall visitor behaviour; and
• to inform how we update and improve our website.

9. Our IP Address Policy

An IP (Internet Protocol) address is composed of a unique number which is automatically assigned to your device by your Internet Platform Provider (ISP) every time you access the Internet. As it is customary for Platforms, we can register Your IP address in order to analyze the Data regarding the number of visits to our Platform. Your IP address, however, is not connected to Your personal information in any way. MECI always retains the right to use said Data to identify any threats to its Platform, to our Platform, or Yourself.

10. How We Process Your Personal Data

For all intents and purposes aforementioned, Your Data will be processed through electronic and physical means. All processing operations are carried out so as to guarantee the safety and protection of your Personal Data throughout the whole process.

11. What Happens if the National Privacy Law Changes

By using the Platform, You agree to let us improve our Terms of Platform according to changes occurring to Italian Data Protection Laws from time to time. We undertake to keep You informed at all times on any amendments, so that You can be aware of how we deal with Your personal information, how we store it, and, should that apply, which other party can access them. We kindly invite You to visit our Privacy Policy section once You access the Platform, so that You can always be up to date with its content.

12. What Happens if the National Privacy Law Changes
